Preventive conservation

Our goal is to help museums preserve collections while maintaining and even enhancing access.

Preventive conservation aims to prevent damage to collections from a variety of factors and includes storage design, lighting guidelines, environmental management, pollutant control, handling, packing and transportation, integrated pest management, and emergency planning.
